A Ski Touring Camp in Romania

Ski touring becomes more and more popular in Romania. The mountains that surround us, the Bucegi, Fogarasch and Ciucas mountains offer a multitude of beautiful ski tours.  In some areas we will use a gondola (Balea und Busteni) in other we will ascend on ski. If you have advanced skill in skiing and experience off piste, you are invited to participate at our Ski Touring Camp.
We recommend that you bring your own ski touring equipment and an avalanche rescue kit. We have a small number of older touring skies with universal binding for rent.
The ski touring camp is international.

What to expect ?

We will do a tour each day, some with ski ascent others using the gondola. The tour offers time for fellowship while admiring the wonderful lanscape. The descend far away from the busy ski slopes offers a pleasure in skiing and enjoying the views. After supper, we will meet at the center to worship and listen to God’s word.

• Lodging at the PdF center in Rasnov, possibly one night in a cabin.
• Each day a ski tour in the Bucegi Ciucaş or Făgărașmountains. (We select the tours considering weather and snow conditions)
• Transportation from the center to the starting point of the tour is included in the price.
• The gondolas are not included in the price (Busteni, Balea)
